The Johnson's Journey: Cooper: 3 Months

Weight: 14lbs {give or take, this was taken at home}

Feedings:

You've been a little bit of a slower eater. You're starting to take in everything around you so when you are eating and something catches your eye you are dead set on that for the rest of the time. You also got your first cold this month so in return you're eating has been off. You're just eating about 4oz every time, however, it seems to be more often. Growing spurt perhaps :)

Sleep:

You're still a decent sleeper, not sleeping through the night yet. Mommy and Daddy are really praying that happens soon! With your cold you've been up more at night. You will cough and it wakes you up and makes you mad. You're slowly getting back into your normal hours! We still do your routine with you, bath, lotion, jammies, milk, bed. You still love your night time baths. Your naps during the day vary. Some days you sleep quite a bit and other days you're up to party all day! You don't do well at other peoples houses during nap time, you want to be in your swing, a bad habit we need to break {as your sleeping in your swing right now}. You officially hate your hands be swaddled, so we are trying to let you sleep w/o being swaddled! That's hard for me because you sleep so good swaddled! You've started crying- or should I say screaming- at like 4:30am... at this time your dad and I are still wanting to get a little more sleep so we put you in bed with us and dad cuddles you until he gets up at 5:30... you usually fall right back to sleep and sometimes sleep until 8:30 or 9... again, one of those things that I pray stops when you start sleeping through the night.

Clothes/Diapers:

You weren't in 1's very long, you are officially in 2 diapers. 1's would probably fit you if we needed them to but I didn't want to open my big box of 1's because I knew you'd be out of them soon, so I tried a 2 and it was totally fine... you're growing way to fast, 2 diapers already! :(

Jammies: we just bought you some 6m sleepers because your 3m are getting a little too short. You're into large swaddlers and medium sleep sacks.

Clothes: Most all your 0-3 fits but some are getting snug so we're in both 0-3 and 3-6..

Milestones

*You've rolled over from tummy to back multiple times!

*You've laughed out loud - only a little bit, but it counts!

*You hold your head up all the time, you hate laying down now because you know you can sit up and look around. You literally try to lift your head/body off the ground/our bodies.. slow down my child

* You are grabbing things... your burp rag, tag blanket, fred, and my hair are your favorite things to grab.

*You can sit in your bumbo and in your stroller {wo carseat}

*You FLIRT already- we are in big trouble...

*You stand still.. like you pass up the sitting stage, you go right from laying to standing

*You found the TV and really like watching it- you like watching the royals too!

*You chew on your hands like crazy

*You stick out your tongue a lot too

You are still smiling and talking up a storm!

Other News

You celebrated 4th of July out at Grandma and Grandpa Johnsons... you got lots of loving and didn't mind the sound of fire works.. you crashed before we could see big ones, so we went ahead and just took you home and put you in bed!

You attended your first Royals game, in a suite, and loved it! Thanks to the Hurds- we had a great time!

We went on our first lunch date with our friends Crystal and your new friend Gunner... you had your first blow out EVER at our lunch date.. I had just got down telling Crystal how you had never pooped out of your diaper or haven ever sprayed us... I spoke too soon haha!

You went back to the church 'daycare' for the first time.... you were then sick that week, therefore, we won't be going back anytime soon :) However, cute little Miss. Presley thought you were a good chewing toy ;)
