Sunday August 26th we loaded up the trucks and headed east to the good ole' state of Tennessee. 11 of us left our house at 2:00am with boats and jet skis, coolers full of food, and memories to be made! The drive wasn't too bad- and I'm sure some wouldn't agree- but we arrived at our cabin around 6:00 that night.
I'll spare you all the play by play of the week and leave you with some pictures, but first, I must say that I was semi nervous spending a whole week with 10 other people in the same house- but it was an AWESOME week! We had SO much fun and SO many memories were made. We had great food, fellowship, and awesome weather! Most of the week we stayed at the cabin and out on the lake. Thursday we went into Knoxville which was about 30 min south of where we were. I really loved Knoxville- it was beautiful. We visited the UT campus {where my husband wouldn't put his feet down riding the trolly lol } and hung out at a local bar and grill. We needed up having to walk a good 2 miles back to our car since the trolly's quit at 6pm. OOPS! :)
I think we all agreed that we will keep doing group vacations- but maybe not 13 hour car drives! :-)
