First up on the agenda: Easter! It was a bittersweet day for us. Grandma Boan went to Heaven at 12:45am on Easter. I can only imagine the celebration she got to become a part of that day. We sure miss her but we find our comfort knowing she is with her creator and she's pain free now! We love you Grandma and you sure started a great thing! We thank you all for your prayers, cards, and kind gestures.
This year, Jon and I went to church with my parent's then straight to their house for some yummy food with the Boan crew. We all enjoyed sitting in the living room watching my cousin's adorable baby make us all laugh. He was just what we needed. Grandpa joined us too. Under the circumstances we were in, it was a beautiful day and I was so glad we could all spend it together.
Easter 2012
That afternoon we headed over to Jon's mom and dads {we are so blessed that our parents live 5 min from each other. It makes Holidays so much easier!}. We have 6 nieces and nephews on the Johnson side so they always so an easter egg hunt. If you have a lot of kiddos and always try to figure out a way to make it "even" you should try what we do. Each kid has their own color- so they know only to pick up their color and they all have the same # of eggs. No drama. No crying. No fits. Nice, good, clean, fun!

What a beautiful day it was. I hope everyone else enjoyed their Easter too, while remember that HE died and rose again for OUR sins.

Second on the agenda; camping! Two weeks ago we got in our first Boan Family camping trip. Jon had to work on Friday and one of our nephews, James had his first communion Saturday morning so we went down late Saturday evening. It was perfect weather. We got to enjoy time with our family with some fun games, food, and a great fire. I'm looking forward to many more of these trips- it's so relaxing and it's great family time. We never have a dull moment together and that is something special to me. It's also a time to reflect on life. It's so peaceful camping and it's a great time to pray and reflect on life.
Here are a couple pictures from the trip.

Peace, Love, and I'm terrible @ blogging,
