Project Life

I wanted to share something with you all. My sister-in-law has an awesome blog that I love to read. Last Friday in her post she mentioned something called Project Life. This is something she did last year with her family (and doing it again this year) and I found a lot of interest in it. After reading reviews, looking at the website, and watching videos, I purchased my Project Life today.

I always have big plans to scrapbook everything Jon and I do- lets be real- I don't have time for that! Project Life was created to help organize the 100's of pictures you take. Here is the decryption from their website.

Project Life simplifies how you document life and preserve memories. With this easier-than-ever scrapbooking system, simply pair your photos and journaling with pre-designed title cards and journaling cards. Your photos, these cards, and even your memorabilia slip into the Photo Pocket Pages and that's it. The result is a stylish masterpiece that represents your life or whatever occasion you choose to record. With Project Life's beautifully simple format, deciding what supplies to use or how to design layouts becomes obsolete, leaving you more time to experience life.

Here is the example of what Project Life looks like (taken from Michelle Wooderson; part of Project Life Creative Team right here in KS)

You can order your kit from Amazon and it's reasonably priced (aka you couldn't go buy all this from hobby lobby for the price they ask for).

I'm really excited to start this project. I can't wait for our kids someday to look back at Jon and I's life through Project Life and then continue doing it while they are growing up. Thank you, Cheri for introducing me!

I would encourage you to try this as 2012 goal. You don't have to be crafty or artistic. All you have to do is take a picture (or not) and journal daily activities. I think you'll be impressed with this product!

I hope one of my readers takes on this project! Let me know if you do!

Peace, Love, and Project Life,

LJ
