Jon and I enjoyed our first "Married" Christmas together. He was on duty Christmas day so we hit both the Boan and Johnson side on Christmas Eve. It was a great day and we are so blessed to have such great families where we all get along and can enjoy each others company! I hope you all got to spend it with the ones you loved, as well. Merry {late} Christmas!

Thanks to pinterest I have tried to become the next Martha Stewart- baking new goodies, finding cool ways to wrap gifts, attempting new work outs, begin DIY projects, etc.. Here are a couple of projects I've completed for the Christmas season:
{burlap bubble wreath}
{Stamp for tags}
{Wood Blocks}
I am starting to take custom orders for my wood blocks- I already have a handful and am really exited. I enjoy doing crafts during my spare time! I just purchased a cricut create machine and am SO excited to start using it. I think it will come in handy for my blocks and scrap booking. I am STILL waiting on our wedding photos- we're coming up on the 5 month mark. Once I get them I plan to put together a big ole book {this is a joke, it won't ever get done. ha}
Can you believe it's almost 2012! I remember when sitting at Renee' Gibson's house waiting for 2000 to strike, wondering if the world was going to shut down- it's hard to believe that it was 12 years ago now. I'm hoping for big things in 2012. I'm mentally setting some New Years resolutions/Goals { trying to set realistic ones }
1. Read the Bible and strengthen my relationship with God
2. Lose 15 pounds
3. Continue to grow my Scentsy business {which I'm loving!}
4. Learn how to cook
5. Pick up a new hobby
6. Get better at keeping up with my blog {oops!}
What are your goals for 2012? I'd love to hear them!
I hope you all have a fun and safe New Years! I'm looking forward to what 2012 will bring!

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35
May this be a goal for you, for me, for our friends and our family. May we love one another because our God loves us.
