Feedings
You love to eat. Right around 6 weeks you were eating 7 or 8oz at some feedings- PIGGY- but clearly you were going through a growing spurt. You're back down to 5oz every 3 hours during the day and 5 or 6 hours at night. Your patience is getting a tad better, but we also know your signs now so we don't wait till it's too late to get your bottle ready. 

Sleeping
6 weeks on the dot mommy moved you to your own room. You were such a loud sleeper in our room. Dad had a hard time accepting it was time for your own bed so I did it while he was at the station. You LOVE your bed. I also think you're a routine baby. We started bathing you every night- some times we just put you in the water just to relax you and not use soap {don't want to dry that skin out anymore}. We start routine around 8:30 or 9-after bath we take you to your room, lotion you up, put jammies on, swaddle you and feed you in your room. By the end of the bottle you're pretty much asleep. You burp and I lay you in your bed and you're out. You wake up between 3 and 4- we don't take you out of your room- I change you and re-swaddle and dad gets your milk ready. You always fall right back to sleep and I'm usually back in bed within 20min. After that feeding you are up 3 hours to the T to eat again.. this time you get to eat in bed with daddy- he typically feeds you before he heads to work.. some mornings we fall back asleep until 9 and some mornings we are up to party! During the day you've been fighting sleep more and more- you don't want to miss out on anything. When you do take naps it's about 2hrs at a time... gives mommy enough time to do things like catch up on her blog :) 

Clothes/Diapers 
I finally made the change to 3m clothes and size 1 diapers. It wasn't long after your 1m mark that this happened.. I think I was in denial. Grandma Boan finally said "lauren, his jammies shouldn't show his shoulders..." so I retired all your newborn clothes and caved and started 1 diapers. It was harder than I thought it was. I told myself I wasn't going to be "that mom" but I totally am. You're growing up so quick... :( 

Milestones
You are still quite the head lifter but you hate tummy time. You do a really good job sitting up and holding your head. I still make you do tummy time. You're getting better at it but it's def not your favorite. 

You're current obsession is standing up. I hold your hands and you pull yourself from laying to sitting to standing. You LOVE it. You do it so good too. Hope this doesn't mean you'll be walking before crawling lol 

You smile ALL the time. It melts my heart when I walk into your room or you wake up and see me and you smile and coo at me. FAVORITE! 

You're showing more interest in toys. You enjoy your play mat a little more each time you're on it. 

You talk ALL the time. You got that from your momma. You're little coos and noises are absolutely ADORABLE! I try to catch them on video but every time I turn it on, you stop. :) I cannot wait till you start laughing!

Other News:

You got to meet your new friend Boden... y'all are just a couple weeks a part... y'all were too cute :) Boden's big sister LucaBelle was having a blast playing peek a boo!

You also went on your first golf cart ride... I left you with gma and gpa boan to run an errand and came back to this: 

You went to your first birthday party- your cousin Jeorgia turned 4...you slept most the time but your cousins and aunt and uncles loved seeing you!

You got to meet and hang out with Knox- he's only 4 days older than you- BFF"s in the making

Last but not least- mommy and daddy finally pulled the trigger and are building you a new house. We've looked and looked for the perfect house for our family and decided the perfect house will be built instead.... we can't wait!
