How far along? 36 weeks 3 days
Baby J is as big as: Watermelon {19in, 6.5lbs}
Total weight gain: 30lbs + -- I go to doctor tomorrow.
Maternity clothes? Mix Matching-- still feel like I wear more normal than maternity. idk how that works.
Stretch marks? None! Here's to hoping...
Sleep: Pretty good... I tired to sleep in bed one night and didn't make it long.. still in the recliner- whatever gets this momma to sleep, I'll do it!
Best moment this week: Easter Sunday! All around awesome day. Steve @ Indian Creek had an amazing message that Jesus is more than enough for us.. nothing we could ever do can compare to Jesus love, grace, and forgiveness for and in us. We had quality time with both families- so that of course means we were well fed plus the weather was absolutely beautiful.
Also, once a month at work we have a meeting that the entire team comes too- this past Friday was the last meeting I will be a part of. The team surprised me with an awesome cake and a very generous gift card to babies r us.. seriously... best co-workers ever. It will be rather hard to leave them all. I really didn't know what to say when they did it and my boss goes "I've never seen you speechless..." --perhaps I talk to much?! nah- :)
Miss Anything? Being able to walk up our 3 flights of stairs {3 small flights of stairs} with a load of laundry and not feel like I just ran a marathon.
Movement: Some days are way more than others.. I did read they start to slow their movement down the closer we get so that made me feel better! He was realllllly active on Easter and Jon got to feel him move a lot Sunday... something he's been lacking since I don't sleep in bed anymore. He's currently doing ninja kicks as we speak!
Food cravings: I've been trying to not eat sweets.. Easter totally hurt me {the monster cookies Nick and Megan brought were to die for} Monday I'm telling myself no more... I have lots of important events to get back in shape for after the baby, so I'm starting now. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing this week..
Gender: little man!
Labor Signs: nope not yet. I woke up the other morning with intense pain in my lower stomach.. I was about to wake Jon up but then I just had to pass some gas and it made me feel better. :)
Symptoms: I am def peeing way more now than I ever have... my back is better {it hurt something super fierce Saturday after the Chiropractor, so I'm not going back}, I still walk waddle... and my swelling really isn't all that bad. I tend to have more at the end of the day or when I get hot {I leave my heater on my feet all day, oops}. Some days I have A LOT of Braxton Hicks- some days I don't have any... one day it's gonna scare me when they aren't Braxton Hicks lol.
Belly Button in or out? Flat-- maybe it's never going to pop out.
Wedding rings on or off? On -- and unless I get super hot they are still easy to take off. Hopefully I can keep them on up until the day- but that's probably like me saying I wanted to stay under 30 pounds- unrealistic :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy for sure. I was thinking in bed last night how awesome of a pregnancy this has been. Ya, I'm ready for it to be over, but in reality, I haven't been crabby, I feel great, I sleep great, I can eat whatever I feel like, I'm not swelling too bad {yet}, etc. etc.... so therefore, I am blessed, I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
I'm also rather happy that next week is my last week of work.. for good.. I'll officially be a stay at home mom April 13th! :) I really like everyone I work with-- I haven't just made work relationships, I've made actual friendships- and not to mention- my boss is one of a kind- it will be hard to ever find a boss that compares to him-- so my good-bye on Friday will probably be a tough one for me {and my emotions}. Luckily, we're at a meeting downtown so I'll get to see everyone!
Looking forward to: Our Doctors appointment tomorrow- interested to see if we have had any progress.
Daddy Moment: I can tell he's getting very anxious to meet his son. I get absolutely no attention anymore. I walk in and it's "let me see him" or "I need to give him kisses..." ... I have officially been replaced. :)
A couple weeks ago, my dad and Jon did some woodworking together. Above Baby J's crib will be his name in old rope {backed on barn wood}-- it looks AMAZING and wish I could show it off right now! {soon enough, I hope!} They also built some book shelves I wanted-- I LOVE them and they look awesome in his room. They're special to me because A. The relationship the two of them have is amazing- it's a blessing. B. They built them together for our son, so there is so much meaning behind them {handmade gifts are my favorite}. C. I didn't have to pay for them. My mom also made his crib skirt... I LOVE that there is so many homemade things in his room-- shows the love everyone has for him. :)
.. so hard to believe that on Saturday, I'll be full term. EK! Can't wait to meet you, my son.
Last Easter just the two of us :)
The AWESOME bookshelves Grandpa and Jon made
The super yummy cake I got Friday @ work!

You are getting SO close! I can't wait. You are so cute pregnant. By the way, my belly button was always flat and not out. AND I never had to take my rings off. I bet you won't either. Can't wait till you can join us on our lunch dates... :)
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Getting close! I am sorry you had a bad chiropractor experience....it all depends on the technique I think for sure. You are looking great!!!
