30 Weeks

I know, I know- I'm late- please forgive me! :) 

How far along? 30 weeks - holy cow! gettin' close!

Baby J is as big as: Head of Lettuce {18in, 3.2 lbs}

Total weight gain: Dr's scale said 21.. so 20+ it is until next visit :) 

Maternity clothes? Mix Matching... 

Stretch marks? Nope.. and I don't even put lotion on! I probably just jinxed myself though! :) 

Sleep: Can't complain. I do sleep really good when Jon's on duty and I have the entire bed to myself! When he's home- I'm confined and it toss and turn more... plus I get REALLY hot. Is that normal?! ha.

Best moment this week: Hands down our baby shower! It was a couple shower with our FF family. Lyneda- who has known me way before "Jon and I"- hosted our shower for us! She did an AWESOME job- all the detail was so cute for our little one. We left our baby shower with hearts full of love! Thank you, Lyneda for an awesome shower! {Pictures to come soon!!} 

Miss Anything?  I do miss being able to pop right out of bed- when I get up I'm pretty sore in my pelvic area so it takes me a min to get going and I feel like I waddle to the bathroom - picture that! haha!

Movement: Tons.. one night Jon even goes "wow he is kicking you really hard.." welcome to my world, babe. 

Food cravings: Nope.. I ate sweets for a couple days- don't get me wrong- they were really good- and the whole bag of sour patch kids in one sitting was really good too. However, my time has come to part with them again... I didn't even give myself a full week... pregnant = no self control! :) 

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing this week

Gender: little {very active} boy!!! :)  

Labor Signs: Nah!

Symptoms: Not really.. I have really felt reallllly good during this pregnancy! Praise God! Regardless, I am getting bigger by the day- so some activities are getting harder and harder. 

Belly Button in or out? Still just pretty much flat... when I laugh it pops out a little bit. 

Wedding rings on or off? On and can easily come off! My feet on the other hand- not so much... they're starting to swell a little.. I went to put my cowboy boots on the other day and thought "man these are tight!" 

Happy or Moody most of the time: Lately- 100% HAPPY. Reality is catching up with me that in a short 7-10 weeks we will be getting to hold our son and that does nothing but make both of us extremely happy!!!! 

Looking forward to: Our family baby shower.. we have some friends coming in from out of town that I haven't got to see in a long time {and I get to meet her little one} and I'm overly excited to spend the weekend with them!! 

Daddy Moment: We did our first load of baby laundry -- and when I said load I mean washer full to the top with his clothes.. already... yikes!! Jon helped me fold and hang his clothes and he'd go "oh this is my favorite" or "look at this frog towel, that is so cute"... you can just tell how excited he is.. and lets be for real- what guy helps hang baby clothes!! MINE DOES!!!! It was so a fun time for us... I'm sure once I'm doing his laundry 3x a day because he poops all over I won't be thinking it's so great! 

We also went to visit a friend of ours who just had their baby girl {Congrats Joel and Christina} and baby Hannah was less than 24 hours old. Once we left the hospital, I said "does that hit home.." and Jon goes " uh, yeah... " lol. esp since Christina and I were talking labor talk! Probably not the smartest idea lol

Baby J's hanging clothes...all clean and ready for him!

Super cute diaper cake Lyneda made us!! I know one day it will get destroyed when I'm in need of a diaper lol.
