Baby J is as big as: a cucumber {15in, 2.2lbs}
Total weight gain: My scale says 13 the doctors says 15. Regardless, I'll take it. I thought I'd blow up like a balloon, so far, so good.
Maternity clothes? Pants.. all my hoping to stay with normal tops isn't working out so well. I'm still wearing mostly all normal clothes but it takes me about 10x as longer to find something I like in the morning. I'd assume in the next couple weeks I'll need to go get some maternity tops. oh joy.
Stretch marks? Nope.. my mom never got them either- and I've heard it's hereditary so here's to hoping!
Sleep: I have my moments. My pelvic pain almost hurts worse while I'm laying in bed- so once I find a spot that is super comfortable I'm usually good. Also, one of my girlfriends gave me a body pillow- made for pregnant people- it pretty much just wraps all around me and it's awesome.
Best moment this week: Monday Jon and I went to the KU game- and even though it was a KU game we really enjoyed our time out together. Towards the end I was becoming a little uncomfortable with no back support so we'll see how many more games I make it too.
Miss Anything? If I had to say one thing I'd be sleep. I miss getting a full nights sleep. Some nights I wake up at 3/4 and think I could just stay awake. I make myself sleep a little longer though.
Movement: Yep... ninja action in my belly.
Food cravings: As you can see in my picture, Bananas with peanut butter, oranges or orange juice, sour patch kids {however, I don't eat these bc I'm still doing my 'no sweets for a year'..} and lately I've just wanted a good ole hamburger and french fries. I don't let my body get that as much as it'd like though. Yesterday for lunch I realllly wanted Wendy's french fries- but I made my car turn right to subway instead. ugh. but it will be worth it after he's here for losing weight!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, not this week!
Gender: little {very active} boy!!! :)
Labor Signs: Too early for that but I do keep getting e-mails about Braxton Hicks since they could be starting within the next couple weeks!
Symptoms: Tired, pelvic feels like a baseball bat has been taken to it, tired, peeing a lot, nesting, tired... :)
Belly Button in or out? Still just pretty much flat... it sure is awkward feeling though.
Wedding rings on or off? On- this cold weather is helping me not swell allowing me to wear my rings!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I've still been pretty happy. Last Tuesday I had a major melt down- thank goodness Jon was at the station. I was pretty moody- then something set me off- then my mom was trying to help and I just started bawling on the way home- couldn't stop crying. Walked in the door- turned on the bath and turned allll the lights off in the house and just sat there cried.prayed. laughed bc i was being ridic. it was quite entertaining but I was exhausted and that's what happens when I let myself get to that point. Note to self-- sleep is good for this momma! :)
Looking forward to: the nursery is coming together finally- we've decided to do some more home improvement projects while the house is tore up- so it's one step @ a time. The accent wall is done and now just paint on the other 3 then carpet. I can't wait so I can start organizing his things so they won't be in the corner of my living room! :)
Daddy Moment: Every day is a daddy moment with him. Nothing in particular stuck out this past week. He was pretty excited at the KU game that next year "HIS son" will be able to come with him- anytime we saw dad's and son's he'd be like that will be me with him soon... it was cute!
*I apologize for this being uber late this week. I promise to start being closer on time! At least I'm getting them up lol*
