Thursday afternoon I took off to Houston to visit my friends Sam and Jamie. We headed to Chuy's for dinner and instantly were "those people" while laughing and eating countless bowls of chips and salsa! I have to admit, I haven't missed drinking at all, but it was very hard to watch them drink cold margaritas. Not to mention it is HOT here so it would have been so refreshing!!
Friday- we do what we so best-- shopped!! We hit up the outlets, which again was hard for me BC I can't really shop anymore. I'm not buy maternity clothes yet and I don't want to buy normal clothes. I did however find a couple things I couldn't live without!
We then headed north to good ole Franklin,Tx. Why may you ask? A good friend of ours lives there and we went to watch him coach some HS football. It reminded me so so much of my hometown, Spring hill! It had all the smells too! We sure stuck out like sore thumbs- however we had a blast!!
Saturday we headed to Waco for the Baylor vs KU football game. It was so so hot the first half- then 2nd half Mother Nature visited and it started raining at half. It was delayed so we decided since we had a 3 hour drive home we had better get going. It was fun while it lasted- even though KU football isn't worth watching anymore. Haha!
All weekend I've been seeing everyone post things about what they are thankful for. Right now I'm beyond thankful for these friends. I hadn't laughed that much in a long time. The friendship we've created and maintained will always be near and dear to me! Sam and Jamie thank you for a fun filled weekend with lots of laughs and bad smells!
Thanks for keeping my son in check. I hope he was a good host!!! And I hope the "bad smells" werent from his apartment!!!!by the way you look adorable Pg.
